Your Bladder Doesn't Need to Hold You Back
IC/BPS is a complex bladder condition characterized by symptoms similar to a urinary tract infection (UTI). With IC/BPS, the bladder wall may be inflamed or irritated yet not infected, which is why antibiotics typically don’t help. At The Bladder Clinic, we are committed to finding solutions that will improve your quality of life.
What is IC/BPS?
It may feel like a UTI, but it’s not. It is a feeling of discomfort and pressure in the bladder area that lasts for hours, days or weeks and might even disappear for a period of time.
When you have IC/BPS the walls of your bladder become irritated and inflamed, yet not necessarily infected. You may experience a constant urge to empty your bladder, even after urinating.
Although there is no cure for IC/BPS, medications and other therapies can provide much-needed relief.
